Airbus One Web Satellites Launch Management
Amanda supported commissioning of the “first automated satellite factory in the world”. She went on to support and lead launches at Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan and Vostochny Cosmodrome, Russia. In 2020, she led the launch team through Covid and OneWeb’s bankruptcy.
SpaceX Dragon Launch & Recovery Mission Management
Amanda supported launch and recovery of both crewed and un-crewed Dragon missions. One highlight was supporting the launch and recovery of the “worlds first all civilian mission to orbit” Inspiration-4 led by Jared Isaacman. Fun fact: In Netflix’s “Countdown”, Episode 5 Mission to Space a documentary about the mission, Amanda was on the recovery ship and the helicopter with the flight crew. She was just behind the camera managing the Netflix production crew!
